Abstract Detail
Reaching Out beyond the Ivory Towers Armstrong, Joseph E. [1]. Botany on the NPR airwaves. Presently I am exploring the possibility of bringing a Stardate type of botanical program to the NPR airwaves. This is an ambitious undertaking and will require not only grant support, but the active input and the scholarly support of the BSA. A possible organization for accomplishing this type of programming will be presented. To be effective informal science education the idea is to link the commonplace to botanical science to further the general public's interest and knowledge of botany. Hopefully a discussion loaded with creative suggestions will ensue. All interested parties are invited to participate. Log in to add this item to your schedule
