Evaluation of the Efficacy of Two orthodox Drugs with Azadarachta indica.

The efficacy of two orthodox anti-malaria drugs of Maloxine and Amalar were each evaluated against the mixture of the leaves and Bark of Azadarachta indica. An equimolar concentration of the two orthoidox and the unorthodox formulation were obtained using distilled water. A 4-one month old Rabbit was used as the experimental species. They were diagnosed for plasmodium parasite and the result was insignificant. After exposure to equimolar concentration of plasmodium parasite, and subsequent clinical confirmation test, the each Rabbits were intravenously injected with a particular drug or formulation. After three days, the result showed differential reduction/ elimination rate in plasmodium load with days due to the administered drugs and formulation. The paper recommends for further laboratory trials and calls for the interpretation of this work with caution.
